Claims / Litigation Management Staff

Although it is the goal of Aegis Corporation to eliminate claims through extensive risk-management training, claims are still a reality. The Claims and Litigation Department is responsible for managing every phase of the claims process up to and including litigation management.

Our tough, no-nonsense approach to claims management is key to the reduction of frivolous claims brought against our clients. One challenge to this philosophy is to control litigation costs. Our staff manages the activities of over 30 law firms approved to represent our clients.

An integral component to any claims function is the management of data. Our claims database program was developed to accumulate data directly from the field adjuster and use it for statutory and actuarial response, loss trending management reports for the Wisconsin County Mutual Claims Review Committee, the board of directors and members. As a major consultant to the Claims Review Committee, Aegis Corporation staff provides data accumulation, opinions, agendas, and minutes of all meetings.
