L. Forrest, Vice President Risk Management Services

As Vice President of Risk Management Services, Mr. Forrest is responsible for the overall risk management efforts of the company. He, along with Blair
Rogacki, is responsible for the marketing, safety program development
and implementation of the Owner Direct Insurance Purchase (ODIP) for the
Wisconsin County Mutual Insurance Corporation.
Mr. Forrest has over 19 years of loss control and risk management
experience, working for both insurance carriers and insurance brokers.
His first-hand contractor experience, along with his insurance carrier
loss control training experience, has been very complimentary to the
successful approval of the ODIP program.
Mr. Forrest majored in Industrial Safety at the University of
Wisconsin at Whitewater and was employed most recently as the
Administrative Vice President of Riley Construction Company. He has also
worked as a Loss Control Specialist for Maryland Casualty Insurance
Company and as a Senior Loss Control Consultant for CNA Insurance
Company, as well as a Loss Control Manager for Frank B. Hall and
Company. He has been with Aegis Corporation since 1997.
Nicholas Dillon, Director of Education & Risk Services

As a part Aegis Corporation’s Loss Control Department, Mr. Dillon’s duties include working with the company’s loss control systems to ensure their effectiveness, as well as creating new systems that will provide the company with the most efficient way to service clients.
He also manages the continuing education function for Aegis Corporation and assist loss control representatives with resource information when it comes to servicing clients.
Mr. Dillon joined Aegis Corporation in 2003 as a Worker’s Compensation Claims Consultant. He has over 15 years experience in the claims and risk management profession; working for over four years with the City of Milwaukee’s Department of Public Works.
As a certified instructor for the State of Wisconsin Technical College System, Mr. Dillon works as a Risk Management Instructor for Waukesha County Technical College and is also an instructor for Marquette University, of which he is an alumnus. He has had the opportunity to speak at national conferences, including the National Safety Congress/Exposition and the World Safety Conference. He also recently completed his graduate studies in “Adult Education & Distance Learning” at the University of Phoenix and plans to start his Doctorate in the fall of 2006.
Jodi
L. Traas, Senior Risk Management Consultant

Ms. Traas’ duties with Aegis Corporation include conducting
training programs for clients on liability and worker’s compensation
issues for both management staff and employees. Training topics include,
but are not limited to, diversity training, confined space entry, chain
saw safety, slips/falls, and personal protective equipment.
Her other responsibilities include identification of loss trends and
solutions to eliminate exposures. She also provides safety audits to
determine compliance with OSHA and DWD standards.
Ms. Traas has expertise in all phases of liability risk management,
with particular specialty in employment practices, risk management and
training. She provides training programs for members of the Wisconsin
County Mutual Insurance Corporation and serves as a consultant to the
Loss Prevention Committee for the County Mutual.
Prior to joining Aegis Corporation in 1997, Jodi had been in the
insurance industry as a Loss Control Consultant for the largest monoline
workers’ compensation company, Fremont Compensation. Ms. Traas has a
Master of Science Degree in Occupational Safety from the University of
Wisconsin at Whitewater. She has also completed additional courses in
property and casualty insurance and is a licensed Wisconsin
intermediary.
Jeffery
Rettig, Senior Risk Management Consultant

Mr. Rettig’s duties include safety training in areas such as blood
borne pathogens, sexual harassment, federal CDL drug testing and
accident investigation. He is also a Worker’s Compensation Specialist
with experience conducting ergonomic evaluations, OSHA and DILHR
evaluations and other related surveys and inspections.
Beyond his training responsibilities, Mr. Rettig participates in and
is responsible for the stewardship of numerous loss control committee
meetings held throughout Wisconsin. His involvement with various loss
prevention committees includes preparing necessary research materials
and loss trending, analysis and benchmarking. He also acts as a
consultant to the Wisconsin County Mutual Insurance Corporation’s Loss
Prevention Committee.
Mr. Rettig holds a Master’s Degree in both Risk Management and
Industrial Management Technology. He has also completed additional
courses in property and casualty insurance and is a licensed Wisconsin
intermediary. Mr. Rettig has been with Aegis Corporation since 1993.
Debra
DeWitt, Senior Risk Management Consultant

As a Senior Risk Management Consultant for the company, Ms. DeWitt’s
duties focus on construction safety compliance and training, as well as
loss control and safety training.
Having worked in the construction industry since 1987, Ms. DeWitt
most recently spent nine years as Director of Safety for Miron
Construction Co., Inc. Prior to that, she was with AZCO HENNES, INC. as
the Director of Safety.
Active in the industry, Ms. DeWitt is involved with several
organizations, including the Professional Society of Safety Engineers.
She has also served as president of the Construction Safety Association
of the Fox Valley since 1999.
Ms. DeWitt is a Certified OSHA Instructor and graduated from the OSHA
Training Institute. In addition, she holds a diploma in Practical
Nursing from Lakeshore Technical College and is currently registered in
the State of Wisconsin.
