Aegis Corporation staff has created The Protector newsletter for members of the Wisconsin County Mutual Insurance Corporation (County Mutual) and Community Insurance Corporation (CIC) which focuses on property loss control.
In this third issue of "The Protector," we are looking ahead to the chilly Wisconsin winter, where we look at the importance of winter weather preparedness for your property, highlight the Village of Howard Fire Rescue Department, discuss the dollars and cents of a property claim, and cover how to recognize and prevent roof collapse due to snow.
"It is our goal with The Protector to provide a comprehensive and holistic approach to property risk management in one dedicated resource, which encompasses risk control, insurance administration, and claims management," said Aegis Corporation Director of Underwriting Programs Paul Schwegel. "It is another tool we can use to work closely alongside our membership to provide robust property insurance services.
The newsletter will be released on a quarterly basis and geared towards the successful navigation of relevant exposures your organization faces on a daily basis. Additionally, we will explain key insurance topics, utilize expert advice from our strategic partners and Wisconsin fire departments, and review major losses with the intent of mitigating and preventing future occurrences.
