Aegis Corporation staff is preparing to provide comprehensive member training at the 10th Annual Highway Safety Days, with planning already underway for May of 2021.
The Wisconsin County Mutual Insurance Corporation (County Mutual) & Community Insurance Corporation (CIC) 2021 Highway Safety Days and MSHA Part 46 Annual Refresher Training is coordinated by Aegis Corporation staff, including presentations by their risk management team.
"This will be our 10th year providing this important training for our critical transportation employees, who daily face incredibly dangerous situations in their jobs," said Aegis Corporation Executive Vice President John Dirkse. "Each year close to 1,500 county and municipal employees come through this training and we are proud to offer this member service, with the end goal of keeping our workers safe and always aware of safety in their daily tasks."
The event, held at seven separate locations on seven separate dates, will be a day of learning and networking for county and municipal employees. Sponsored by the County Mutual & Community Insurance Corporation, Highway Safety Days includes training from industry leaders and provides solutions to the hazards your employees face.
There is no cost for County Mutual & CIC members to attend.
If you have questions regarding the Highway Safety Days, please contact Jodi Traas, Senior Risk Management Consultant for the County Mutual & CIC at 800-511-9797 or via email.
Safety training topics, registration information, and specific location details will be available in March 2021.
The County Mutual & CIC are planning the 2021 Highway Safety Days to take place in-person. We may move the training to a virtual format in the event of the continued threat of the COVID-19 Pandemic. A determination of whether the event will be held in-person or virtual will be made in early March.
